Real Neat Blog Award in Seahorse Painting

Thank you Ribana for nominating me Real Neat Blog Award! Many thanks and love to you! This is my first Real Neat Blog Award and I’m so pleased and honored! Please visit her neat blog, Popsicle Society to get more inspiration in food, stories and travelling. Copied from Ribana’s,  the award was started back in 2014 by Dear Kitty 1, to give bloggers more recognition.

To honor the rules and stick to my theme Coastal Summer, I painted a seahorse, a remarkable marine fish. Not just for their beautiful shape, but the male ability to carry the pregnancy and deliver the seahorse babies to the sea world as well are amazing. This seahorse painting I’ve made it into the Real Neat Blog Award logo. I painted it with watercolor which I’m smitten with. Hope you all, like it! And I shared my painting stages!

The rules of Real Neat Blog Award are:

  • Put the award logo on your blog.
  • Answer the 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you.
  • Thank the person who nominated you and add a link to their blog.
  • Nominate any number of people, linking to their blogs and let them know you nominated them by commenting on their blogs.

  1. What makes you happy? My happy loved ones.
  2. What’s the next place you would like to visit? No clue.
  3. Sea or mountain? Mountain
  4. Sweet or salted? Both
  5. Would you eat bugs? if it’s not in a whole bug, maybe I would, but what’s the point? Unless it’s so darn delicious or as medicine.
  6. Are you eating for surviving or are you a gourmand? I love delicious food, and thank God I still able to eat as a pleasure not just survive.
  7. And the last one: have you smiled today? Yes, and laugh too

  6. Congratulations Mel 🥳🥳 What a great painting! I’m always amazed at how talented you are 🤗😊 Your paintings looks so vivid, I simple love them! Always when I go to visit the sea aquarium I look for the seahorses….these so small creatures but yet so strong!
    Yeah, eating bugs only if are really darn delicious 😋 🤪

    1. Thank you to you Ribana! Even it’s darn tiring being a stay at home mom & wife plus blogging, my kid and my pup still make me laugh with their ridiculous acts 😀 Well, glad you love my seahorse painting, they are monogamist fish, can you believe that?! 🙂 Happy coming weekend!

  14. Congrats on your award. Loved the seahorse watercolour. We have something similar, pipefish. I’ve seen them around our boat’s propeller in shallow bays. – Margy
